The YTL Foundation is hosting a weekend fundraiser Christmas bazaar at YTL's Lot 10 Shopping Centre to benefit the underpriviliged children living around the Bukit Bintang area through the 54C Learning Space.

The Christmas Hope Bazaar is a charity fundraiser that takes place this weekend with proceeds going directly towards helping underprivileged children in Bukit Bintang through initiatives run by 54C, a community centre created for the local Bukit Bintang community.

This Christmas extravaganza will feature handicrafts made by underprivileged children in the local community, game stalls, children's storytelling, craft making workshops, exciting live performances, and booths selling Christmas gifts and sweet treats on the ground floor of Lot 10 Shopping Mall.

The opening of the charity bazaar was officiated by Ms Marianne Clark-Hattingh, UNICEF Representative to Malaysia. Also present at the event were trustees of the YTL Foundation and other distinguished guests.

"YTL Foundation has had a great impact on its surrounding community through its learning centre, 54C," said Ms Clark-Hattingh. "This centre is truly achieving its mission of making a difference by serving its community."

The 54C Learning Centre once served as the headquarters of the YTL Corporation, but was recently transformed into a learning space for the local community in conjunction with the celebration of YTL's th Anniversary in 2015. Besides providing a safe community space for children, it also runs a variety of free educational programs that has, and continues to, benefit children in the surrounding neighbourhood. These programmes include music lessons and tuition classes that include learning through the innovative use of technology.

The Christmas Hope Bazaar is open to the public and all are welcome to join in the fun and games! Don't miss out.
