Yes 5G Offers the Most Affordable RAHMAH 5G Package to Improve 5G Access for Malaysians

In line with its mission to bring 5G access to every Malaysian, Yes 5G by YTL Communications launched its suite of Pakej Yes 5G RAHMAH plans; offering a 5G Device and 100GB of data for just RM35 per month. The plans were launched at an event officiated by Yang Berhormat Tuan Fahmi Fadzil, Communications and Digital Minister of Malaysia, earlier today.

Its star device bundle features the Yes Power 35 RAHMAH, offering 100GB of 5G+4G mobile data, with unlimited calls at only RM35 per month. It comes with a ZTE Blade A73 or a Vivo Y55+ 5G phone at RM240, or RM120 for the first 100,000 B40 citizens. The Yes Power 35 RAHMAH plan will be offered to all Malaysians as a two-year contract, with a two-year warranty for the device.

“In support of this and to provide the best value for all Malaysians, we are launching the Yes Power 35 RAHMAH device bundle plan at RM35 per month for 100GB data, which is the most affordable mobile plan in the market. This is also in line with our mission to provide ‘Yes 5G For All’, which is to make 5G mainstream and affordable for the rakyat as we move towards a more progressive Malaysia,” Wing said.

“Malaysians can now experience 5G connectivity on their fingertips with uncapped speed on our Yes 5G network, which has been twice recognised as the Fastest Mobile Network in Malaysia,” Wing added, alluding to Yes 5G being awarded the Fastest Mobile Network in Malaysia by Ookla® consecutively for both Q3-Q4 2022 and Q1–Q2 2023.

Besides the Yes Power 35 RAHMAH package, Yes 5G is also offering the Yes Infinite Basic RAHMAH Plan at RM58/month, which comes with uncapped 5G+4G data, 20GB mobile hotspot and unlimited calls. With a 24-month contract, users have a variety of 5G phones to choose from featuring brands like Samsung, Honor, OPPO, Redmi, Vivo and ZTE.

As for the RAHMAH Civil Servants Postpaid Incentive Plan (Insentif Postpaid RAHMAH untuk Penjawat Awam), Malaysian civil servants can sign up and enjoy up to RM120 discount on Yes 5G’s RAHMAH postpaid plans. Yes 5G is offering a monthly RM10 rebate for 12 months for the Yes Infinite Basic, Infinite Standard, Infinite Premium and Infinite Ultra plans. All plans include unlimited and uncapped 5G and 4G data, unlimited calls and additional hotspot.

The Pakej Yes 5G RAHMAH will begin on 31 August until 31 December 2023, while the Insentif Postpaid RAHMAH untuk Penjawat Awam will launch on 16 September 2023.
