Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak graces YTL’s CNY Open House

The YTL Family ushered in the Year of the Snake in grand style at their Chinese New Year Open House which was held recently at the JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

This annual event was nothing short of spectacular with the country’s leaders, dignitaries, royals attending and treated to a sumptuous feasts as well as spectacular performances.

The JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur was overflown with well-wishers from friends and family of YTL, as well as the general public, who thronged the venue with a great festive mood.

Guests of Honour, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor graced the occasion and was greeted on arrival by YTL Corporation Berhad executive chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Yeoh Tiong Lay and Managing Director Tan Sri Dr Francis Yeoh.

Also present were the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and the Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail.

The event was officiated in true auspicious fashion, with the traditional tossing of the Yee Sang – which signifies abundance, prosperity and vigour to all. There was also a lion dance performance and a traditional Chinese Orchestra troupe which serenaded the crowd with festive tunes.

It was certainly a memorable and festive affair to remember, with guests going home with filled tummies and smiles on their faces to kick off a perfect start to the New Year.
