A Perennial Feast: A Lifetime of Celebration

YTL Hotels chefs shared their amazing recipes in 'A Perennial Feast'

Kuala Lumpur, February 4, 2013

YTL Hotels recently launched its much anticipated coffee table book at an intimate event at Starhill Gallery. Remaining true to its philosophy of crafting inspired experiences, the book, A Perennial Feast, is a feast for the eyes as it showcases the culinary excellence of YTL’s hotels, resorts and restaurants worldwide.

Authored by Kim Inglis, the book takes you on a gastronomic journey from Malaysia to China and Japan and all the way to Europe. Beginning in Malaysia, the heart and home of the YTL Group, the book uncovers both island resorts and city heritage hotels and restaurants, providing an overview of the local Malay cuisine.

Journeying across the seas to the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido and the cityscape of modern Shanghai, the book explores both recipes and cuisines from China and Japan. Not forgetting Bali, Thailand, England and France where the iconic YTL Hotels properties are captured creatively by Danish photographer, Jacob Termansen.

Food enthusiasts will savour the finest in gastronomy with sustainable ingredients and preparations from the simple to the complex and at-home chefs will find the signature dishes from every YTL restaurant and be able to recreate it in their own kitchens.

A Perennial Feast is available at all major bookstores and retails at RM125 per copy.
